Dhiira operates a sub-contractor model, matching skills and expertise to every project. We are proud to say that 100% of our sub-contractor teams are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander sole traders, companies or organisations.
Founder and Managing Director
Leroy is a Worimi and Ngarrindjeri man born in Taree, regional New South Wales, and having spent the majority of his life in Newcastle, New South Wales, Leroy is a young Aboriginal leader that has a passion for innovation and positive change.
Leroy has had a successful Executive Leadership career in the Aboriginal Not-For-Profit Employment sector with a background in Banking and Finance.
Leroy is the Founder and Managing Director of Dhiira Pty Ltd, a 100% Aboriginal Owned Professional Services company specialising in Indigenised Training, Strategy, Facilitation with a special focus on Leadership and Human Resources.
Leroy is an innovator, a creative, a fresh thinker, non-conventional, far too energetic, does not have an ‘inside voice’ and is on a mission to change the game and flip the script.

Dhiira was founded in 2019 by Leroy Maher, Dhiira is a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated professional services firm of creatives, big thinkers, social innovators and entrepreneurs, focusses on changing the narrative of Australia and beyond.
Our work and ethos is curated through the Aboriginal lens, a very
human lens, enabling our work to be considerate and informed by cultural needs, nuances and aspirations thus reverse engineering this into the fabric of business, government and society more broadly.
Our business is unique, with specialist consultants focussed on uncovering connective DNA between Aboriginal ways of doing, being, thinking and feeling with mainstream approaches, systems, policies and strategies.
Our work is designed to be future proof, to be impactful, to be a journey of learning and unlearning in a safe, supported, fun and innovative practice of tapping curiosity to inform the future across a number of sectors and realms.
